In Norway, McDonald’s turned to mobile to entertain and engage its younger customer group, primarily children from 6-16 years old.
Mobiletech has worked with McDonald’s, and its ad agency DDB, since 2008 on a range of SMS and MMS campaigns. Campaigns have ranged from asking youngsters to submit photos with their best facial expression to enter competitions to attend film premiers (e.g. Blåfjell and Monsters vs. Aliens), winning the chance to be an extra in a TV series, as well as texting answers to questions features on the table mats.
The company holds the ‘all-time-high’ ranking at Mobiletech in terms of response rates from MMS campaigns.
