3F (United Federation of Danish Workers) is the largest trade union in Denmark.
In 2009, 3F deployed a mobile campaign to implement an ambitious recruitment campaign for the union.
The campaign was advertised via both TV and outdoor adverts that promoted ‘YESPLEASE to 1969′ as the response medium. Via the SMS, people gained access to a mobile website with relevant content, including videos, and the ability to request a call back to discuss membership.
The campaign was a huge success for 3F. Not only did it result in more than 1,000 new members. It also had over 600 video downloads of 3F’s TV adverts and ring-tones. Over 200 people used the ‘tell a friend’ function.
